Chrome Extension: Blognav

I finally did some programming at home!

Several hours of Googling and a trivial amount of programming, and out came chrome-ext-blognav on GitHub.

It’s a very simple content script that searches for the “rel-prev” and “rel-next” links in a page’s HEAD and pops up a little box in the corner of your browser to navigate them. 90% of Wordpress and Typepad blogs have these links on their permalinked pages.

It was inspired by getting sucked into Russell Davies’s website and not being able to find the navigation links after devouring each post in turn. This just makes it so, so much easier.

I’m pathetically pleased with it, given how little work it was.
